A first outing without rushing the decision

If you are unsure about a longer trip, ask whether an appropriate shorter stretch around Brahmpuri is available. A shorter outing can reduce the time commitment, but it does not eliminate the need for screening or a full briefing. Anyone who is anxious should discuss their concerns before a departure is confirmed.

For families, do not choose on the assumption that a short trip accepts all children. Tell the operator each child's age and ask about the current rules and equipment fit. For non-swimmers, disclose ability before paying.

What to look for in the briefing

The guide should explain how to sit, hold a paddle, respond to commands and act if somebody enters the water. Ask questions before launching. If you do not understand the instructions because of language, ask for an explanation you can follow.

The purpose of a first rafting trip is to experience the river with an appropriate crew and plan. There is no need to turn it into a contest over who chooses the longest route.

What is included?

Your rafting booking includes a licensed, qualified guide, transport for the rafting outing, a life jacket, helmet and paddle. Hotel pickup is included where the location permits; collection may be from your hotel or the nearest suitable meeting point. Confirm the actual pickup arrangement in advance.

Water and a waterproof bag for a phone are available. Storage for luggage and extra clothing can be arranged on request. The phone bag is for a phone, not general luggage, and is not a guarantee against damage or loss. Photos and videos cost extra.

Briefing and equipment checks

Your registered, certified guide gives the pre-trip briefing and safety instructions. Life jackets, helmets and paddles are provided and checked for safety. You complete the required no-claim/consent form before rafting. Listen to all instructions and ask questions before launch; rafting is not risk-free.

Who can join?

Our participant age bracket is 14–60 years. Participants must be healthy; people with heart or lung problems are not eligible under our booking requirements. Tell us about any other relevant health, mobility or swimming concern privately before paying. Age eligibility alone does not guarantee participation: the guide must also assess suitability, equipment fit and conditions.

Tell us about swimming ability in advance. Non-swimmer acceptance is assessed for the actual trip. Read safety and eligibility and family planning.

Pickup and belongings

Send your hotel name and map pin. Pickup can be from the hotel or a nearby suitable point, depending on the location. Ask for bag and extra-clothing storage before the trip. Use location guidance and the packing checklist.

Shared and private bookings

Solo guests can join shared departures; at least four participants are needed to run a shared departure. Private raft bookings for groups need advance booking and a separate total-price quotation.

Read group planning or solo booking guidance.

Payment and changes

Advance payment is required to reserve rafting. The advance is non-refundable for customer cancellation. Refunds or a transfer/rescheduling of the booking may be provided only when weather problems affect the trip, subject to confirmation by the team. Read the cancellation policy before paying.
