Choosing a trip

Which rafting route should I choose?

Compare the actual stretch, group readiness and time available. Ask the operator for a recommendation based on everyone's ages, experience and swimming ability. Start with route comparisons.

What is the difference between the main starting areas?

We offer Brahmpuri, Shivpuri, Marine Drive and Kaudiyala. Marine Drive and Kaudiyala require advance group booking. Contact us for detailed Kaudiyala information and pricing.

Are route distances exact?

Commercial distances may be approximate and depend on the finish. Confirm the itinerary instead of comparing headline kilometres alone.

Can a beginner take a longer trip?

Ask for individual assessment. Previous experience, stamina, conditions and the route all matter. See first-time planning.

Participation

Can non-swimmers raft?

Disclose swimming ability before booking. Some trips may accept non-swimmers following assessment, while others may not. Read non-swimmer guidance.

Can children join?

Our age bracket is 14–60. We do not offer rafting for children under 14. Participants aged 14–17 still need suitability and equipment-fit checks and required paperwork. Read family planning.

Is rafting completely safe?

No. It involves moving water and other hazards. Suitable route selection, equipment, qualified crew and briefing help manage risk. Read safety guidance.

What if someone has a medical concern?

Participants must be healthy and have no heart or lung problems under our booking requirements. Share other relevant concerns privately before paying; the guide still assesses suitability.

Prices and inclusions

What does rafting cost?

Our indicative prices are ₹500 for Brahmpuri, ₹800 for Shivpuri and ₹1,200–₹1,800 for Marine Drive, per person including taxes. They can vary with demand and season. Check the final quote through prices.

Are photos included?

No. Photo and video charges are extra. Ask about charges and delivery. See photography guidance.

Is hotel pickup included?

Hotel pickup is included depending on location. Collection may be from the hotel or the nearest suitable point; confirm it with your hotel pin.

Can I book a private trip?

Yes. Groups can request a private raft in advance. Contact us for total price, capacity and exact arrangements. Read group planning.

Timing and location

Is rafting open all year?

Do not assume year-round operation. Conditions, seasonal closures and instructions can affect trips. Confirm close to the date through season guidance.

How long should I keep free?

Include reporting, transfers, fitting, briefing, the river journey and changing afterwards. Ask for the full outing estimate.

Where do we meet?

Use the written confirmation's pin. The office, launch and finish can differ. Read location.

Booking

How do I reserve a departure?

Send participant and travel details, review the proposed route and quote, read the terms and follow the confirmed payment process. See booking.

What happens if conditions change?

Advance payment is required and non-refundable for customer cancellation. Refunds or booking transfers may be provided only for weather-related problems, subject to confirmation. Review cancellation terms.

Can a solo traveller join?

Yes. Solo guests can join shared departures, with a minimum of four participants needed to run. Ask about your date before paying. Read solo planning.

Ask a question about your trip

Is there storage for bags and dry clothes?

Storage can be arranged on request. Water and a waterproof phone bag are available; the bag is for a phone and is not a damage/loss guarantee.

What equipment and briefing do you provide?

A life jacket, helmet and paddle are provided and safety-checked. The registered, certified guide gives the pre-trip briefing and safety instructions, and participants complete the required no-claim/consent form.

How much is Kaudiyala rafting?

Contact us for the detailed itinerary and tax-inclusive price for your group and date. Advance group booking is required, as with Marine Drive.
