Planning a rafting day for friends, colleagues or a travelling group? Start with the participants, then choose the route. The organiser's job is to collect accurate details and make sure everyone understands the proposed activity before paying.
Private rafts: advance booking required
Private raft bookings are available for groups. Contact us in advance for the total price, capacity and exact arrangement. Do not assume a private quote is the shared per-person fare multiplied by your headcount.
Marine Drive is available on advance group booking only: around 24 km, around 5–6 hours and an indicative ₹1,200–₹1,800 per person including taxes. The final quote depends on date, demand and season.
Kaudiyala is also available on advance group booking. Contact us for its detailed route, timing and total price.
Our route options

Prices may be lower or higher depending on demand and season. Confirm the final tax-inclusive amount before paying. Distances and timings are approximate; the finish at Laxman Jhula or Ram Jhula is confirmed for your departure. Actual timing and route remain subject to conditions.
Choose for the whole group
A group can include first-time rafters, confident swimmers, non-swimmers and people who prefer a shorter outing. Tell the booking team about the range of experience and confidence. Do not present everyone as an experienced participant just to secure a particular route.
Use the route comparison to shortlist options, then ask for the operator's assessment. Each participant may need individual screening and consent.
Shared versus private arrangements
A shared departure may combine your party with other participants. A private arrangement may reserve capacity specifically for your group. Confirm the actual arrangement: exclusive raft use, dedicated transfer and private departure are different things.
Ask how many rafts the group may use, who travels together and how changes to the final count affect the price. Capacity and raft allocation must follow the operator's requirements; do not insist on keeping everyone in one raft when that is unsuitable.
Corporate and organised outings
For team events, make participation voluntary and provide a practical alternative for anyone who cannot join. Avoid describing rafting as a mandatory test of confidence. Share the safety guide and provide a private route for participants to raise concerns.
Confirm the briefing language, timing, transport, emergency contact arrangements and who coordinates the group on land. Allow a buffer before meals, meetings or onward travel.
A useful group quote includes
| Item | Detail to agree |
|---|---|
| Participants | Count, ages and screening process |
| River plan | Proposed stretch and estimated duration |
| Allocation | Shared/private status and raft arrangement |
| Transfers | Pickup, launch and finish locations |
| Payments | Deposit, final-count deadline and balance |
| Extras | Photographs, meals or accommodation if requested |
| Changes | Reduced numbers, weather decisions and refunds |
Included services, ages and payment
Your rafting booking includes a licensed, qualified guide, transport for the rafting outing, a life jacket, helmet and paddle. Hotel pickup is included where the location permits; collection may be from your hotel or the nearest suitable meeting point. Confirm the actual pickup arrangement in advance.
Water and a waterproof bag for a phone are available. Storage for luggage and extra clothing can be arranged on request. The phone bag is for a phone, not general luggage, and is not a guarantee against damage or loss. Photos and videos cost extra.
Our participant age bracket is 14–60 years. Participants must be healthy; people with heart or lung problems are not eligible under our booking requirements. Tell us about any other relevant health, mobility or swimming concern privately before paying. Age eligibility alone does not guarantee participation: the guide must also assess suitability, equipment fit and conditions.
Advance payment is required to reserve rafting. The advance is non-refundable for customer cancellation. Refunds or a transfer/rescheduling of the booking may be provided only when weather problems affect the trip, subject to confirmation by the team. Read the cancellation policy before paying.
Shared departures require a minimum of four participants to run; solo guests can join them. A private arrangement needs its own confirmed details.
Before the day
Send participants the meeting instructions and packing checklist. Ask them to arrive ready for the briefing and to tell the operator privately about relevant concerns. Keep the reporting list accurate.
For a longer stay, read the two-day itinerary. If you want accommodation bundled in, compare its terms separately through camping and rafting planning.
